Jacob Ray was born and raised in High Point, North Carolina, where he continues to reside. He is currently a Retirement Specialist at Thrive Retirement Group.
Jacob is a graduate of Appalachian State University, where he represented the university in a national competition showcasing advanced Excel skills. During his time at Appalachian State, he also participated in a study abroad program in Japan, where he explored sustainable business practices that balance environmental responsibility with profitability.
Jacob played the French horn from 7th grade through his junior year of college and was a dedicated member of the Appalachian State Ultimate Frisbee team for four years. In his free time, he enjoys playing disc golf and traditional golf, staying active and engaged in his local community.
